TARGET

WAS worked closely with the Owner and McCollough Architecture to nestle a contemporary home onto a bayside lot on Ono Island.  The Owner’s desire was to create a “mini-jungle” between the street and the home to create privacy and sanctuary for this new residence.  WAS utilized undulating height low retaining wall to manipulate grade, while creating dense layers of plantings that withstand the harsh conditions of the Gulf Coast.  The home turned out to be a showpiece (maybe not to passers-by because of successfully-created seclusion) for guests and the homeowners alike.
