The City of Clinton grew up around natural springs that were found throughout the country side along the Natchez Trace. Some of the springs become frequent rest areas and watering holes for travelers. One such spring is found just blocks from Clinton’s Old Town Historic District and will be developed into a usable passive and active park space. WAS is currently providing master planning services for this hidden gem. The master plan elements include a water feature fed by the natural spring, walking and biking trails, entry signage, a pergola feature with seating areas, interpretive kiosks, and plantings.
